Welcome James W. Robinson Secondary School Class Of 1988!

Robinson Class of 1988

We are a unique class…
We are one of the largest graduating classes to pass through the halls of…
James W. Robinson Secondary School

A great quote from our yearbook – “I know I’ll never forget some of the crazy things my friends and I did.  High school will be gone, but definitely not forgotten.”

It goes without saying that 20 years is a long period of time.  For most of us, it is long enough to have some of our treasured memories from the hallowed halls of the James W. Robinson Secondary School fade away.  Yet, some of those memories seem as if they only happened yesterday…memories we cherish...ones that remind us of a time that began to define the very people we have become.

It is now time to bring back to life, over a reunion weekend in the fall of 2008, those treasured memories.  Come and reconnect, reacquaint, and relive that special time in our lives.

No matter what your memories are of… classes, the 15 minute locker break, the enormous parking lot, friends, teachers, guidance counselors, Mr. Jackson, coaches, sports, music, debate team, sock hops, proms, extracurricular activities, the RAM Jam, or the McDonald’s parking lot…Bring all of these recollections with you!

Come and reminisce with your fellow RAMS.  Enjoy a RAM’s football game on October 10th at 7:30,a tour of the school, and a Gala event at the Hyatt Reston Town Center on October 11th at 8:00pm.

Show your RAM spirit and make this one of the largest 20 year reunions to occur in ’08.

The reunion committee is very excited to be working with Capital Reunions to help us make this an unforgettable weekend for all in attendance.  So be sure to check back here often for more information and plan now to share this momentous occasion.

And – please spread the word; we don’t want to leave anyone out.  Be sure to check out our class contacts page on this website and update your profile with your current contact information.  If you don’t see your name, please feel free to add it.  And finally, keep checking this website for updates.

See you there!

The 5th Annual Kit Callahan’s Miracle Mile, 8K Run/Walk will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2008 at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA.  The mission of the Miracle Mile is to provide an event that rejoices in the triumphs of survivors with brain injuries; provide community outreach and education about brain injuries; promote prevention; and raise funds.

This event was started by Kit Callahan and his family in partnership with Brain Injury Services, Inc. and other organizations in 2001.  Kit suffered his brain injury on October 23, 1993. He was found unresponsive behind a building not far from his apartment in Chicago. No one knows what happened, but the doctors said he received a blow to the back of the head, which resulted in a brain stem injury. The journey back from near death to where he is today took tremendous courage and fortitude. Kit had to learn to think and talk again, sit up and stand, and learn to walk.  Since that time things have continued to get better for Kit.  He is now living independently at

Coppermine Place
I in Herndon, VA.  Kit loves his new home and with his new "bike" has the freedom to get himself to the local gym and shopping center.  The long road back from his initial injury has taught his family not to take their good health for granted. It has also shown them how powerful the desire to recover is and what tremendous courage it takes. Every day is still a challenge, but Kit wakes up every day saying that "it's another great day to be alive!"

To learn more about this event or to register please visit  We hope you join us on Sunday, September 28, 2008 to celebrate and rejoice in the success of survivors with brain injuries.
