Welcome Annandale High School Class Of 1987!
Slap your cheeks…blink your eyes…shake your head; yes, 20 years has passed since we graduated from Annandale High School. It’s hard to believe that so much time has gone by, and for some of us it’s hard to believe it’s been TEN years since our last big reunion bash. Hopefully for all of you, time has flown while you’ve been having fun. The Reunion Committee is trying to put together activities to make sure folks can get together and catch up after many years in a setting that is fun, relaxing and comfortable with a little food, drink, and entertainment… here are the plans so far… Friday, October 19th at 7:30 pm: Football Game against Lake Braddock (Bring your family!). There will be special end-zone bleachers for the class so that we can sit on the field and flashback to 1987 while we watch the game together. Dig out your letter jacket, find your old AHS red and white colors, and come support the Atoms. Saturday, October 20th from 11AM – 12:30 PM at AHS. (Bring your family!) Tours of the school given by current students. The school has definitely changed a lot, so come see if you can remember where your locker was, where you kissed that special someone, which door you used to play hookie from Chemistry class, or what field it was you played your sport on. If you plan to come to the tour and catch up over a light lunch in the cafeteria, please e-mail email@example.com by October 15th so we can be sure enough food is provided. Saturday, October 20 from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Fair Lakes Hyatt. The main event. This is the big night that everyone will be attending so you’ll want to block your calendar now. We’ll have food and an open bar from 8-10pm. Sign up now to save on the ticket fee. It works out to about $10 per year since we last got together, so crack open the piggy bank and commit to coming. The reunion planners indicate that the 20yr is by far the most widely attended and the most fun – this is one party you will not want to miss. We expect this reunion to be a great success ---even more so than the last-- and we are asking for your help to make that a reality! The more folks enrolled the larger the draw so quit procrastinating! Take a few minutes to check out the profiles of the classmates who have added their personal information to this site and update your own – your friends would love to hear what you’ve been up to for the past two decades! Then contact any classmates you know and encourage them to come to the reunion! Looking forward to seeing you in October!
